What is Coronavirus?
CoronaVirus (COVID-19) is a deadly disease capable to infect one to other; caused by newly discovered coronavirus.
The COVID-19 spreads through saliva, or by sneezing or coughing of an already infected person.
People infected with this virus have the complaint of respiratory illness. This virus is more dangerous for the older people or who already have medical problems like cancer, diabetes etc.
COVID-19 Symptoms
One who is COVID-19 positive; will have breathing problem, and could feel mild fever. The older people or who have underlying medical conditions need to be more aware of this virus because this could lead them to several diseases or death.
Common symptoms include:
- fever
- tiredness
- dry cough.
Other symptoms include:
- shortness of breath
- aches and pains
- sore throat
- and very few people will report diarrhoea, nausea or a runny nose.
If someone feeling positive with any of the symptoms listed here or have any medical issue should consult to the doctor as soon as possible.
Prevention
Unfortunately, at this time there is no vaccine or treatment for Coronavirus, but the prevention is very easy and effective. So, to prevent infection and to slow transmission of COVID-19, do the following:
- Wash your hands regularly.
- Use Sanitizer to clean your hand.
- Try to maintain social distance.
- Avoid touching your face/eyes/nose.
- Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
- Avoid smoking.
- Try to stay at home if ill.
